 Placing Your Order

IMPORTANT!  If you are ordering something as a surprise gift for someone, please make sure you provide us with a telephone number where we can reach you without the intended recipient finding out, such as your work telephone number!  Or, provide us with a specific time frame when we can call without the intended recipient knowing (remember to give us the time zone as well). For example, you could tell us to only call between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., Eastern Time.

     We will have to call to discuss factors such as size and color patterns, and your surprise will be ruined if the person who is to receive the gift picks up the telephone when we call!

 

PLEASE NOTE:    

          While there are various ways to place your Wildabout Wampum order, the simplest way is to simply call us at either 1-506-530-5445 or 1-506-576-5445.

          The reason we ask that you call us is two-fold – first, our website is not equipped to take credit card information on-line, but secondly, and more importantly, we need to speak to you regarding your preferences for the pieces you wish to purchase.

          You see, at Wildabout Wampum your purchases aren’t simply plucked from a warehouse. When you place your order, we carve the pieces to your specifications. Thus, we need to talk to you to determine such things as what size you want (usually referring to a coin size as an indicator), whether you prefer more dark purple than white or a lot of bold stripes, etc.

          Once we know what you want, we will select a shell that will provide the piece you want!

          Also, please note that our catalogue prices don't include taxes, and there will be a $10 mailing fee within Canada, and a $15 mailing fee to the U.S..           It is also important to note that while the pieces you order will resemble the shape of the pieces in our catalogue, the exact patterns of the colors will differ, according to your preferences. Each shell has its own unique patterns, which is why we pick a shell that will match your preferences.

          Meanwhile, should you not wish to pay by credit card, we can accept checks or money orders mailed to us for payment, though your order will not be mailed out until payment is received. In most cases, orders are mailed out within a week of payment being received.
